“We live in an era when most of our public men are held by ignoble delusions — generally a mixture of technological progressivism and personal self-assertion — all that is left of official liberalism in the English-speaking world.  In such circumstances a writer has a greater responsibility to ridicule the widespread ignoble delusions than to protect the few remaining beliefs which might result in nobility.”

George Grant, Lament for a Nation (Carleton Library Edition, 1970), p.14.

PROFILE

A.J. Rowley is a moderately disappointed twenty-something.

He is currently working on a MA in History while writing his first novel.

He resides along the lakeshore east corridor of the Greater Toronto Area and very much enjoys orbiting the self-proclaimed centre of the universe.

Right now, he’s probably napping.  He is not special.  And this is his website.

ENABLERS

Special thanks to Dale for help tinkering with the installation, the classy customer header, and answering my numerous questions.
